If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Nobody likes spending extra money when they don’t have to. So if you’ve only damaged one part of your garage door… don’t panic. A lot of people don’t know, but often you can simply buy a replacement section to repair your door, instead of replacing the whole thing.
(A little tip from our friends at Clopay if you’re a normal human being and don’t remember your garage door model: if your garage door was manufactured in the last ten years, the 15- to 16-digit serial number will be on the bottom inside section of the door.)
Two reminders to keep you out of trouble:
If you do need to replace your garage door (or think this is the perfect excuse to update the look of your house and get rid of the door you thought was ugly but your mother-in-law loved), we’re here to help. And honestly, a new garage door has one of the highest ROI’s for your home – so even if it is broke and we need to fix it, your money is mostly going back into your pocket. We wish more investments were like that—but we’re pretty happy to work on something that is.
I had a few bad experiences over the years before discovering Deluxe Garage Doors. They replaced my garage door for a few hundred less than the lowest bid at the time, then a few years later replaced my garage door opener. They are friendly and efficient, and don’t try to overcharge or oversell. I have had only good experiences from them, if only calling with a question or needing a quick repair. I have recommended them to a few neighbors and they both reported a similar excellent experience.
